Whisky history has moments etched in fire. It’s rare for Argentine art to reach a living legend. However, Jimmy Russell recently received a unique tribute. The Wild Turkey Master Distiller, with over 60 years of experience, now owns a handcrafted glass by Lanchi.
A Mission of Honor
This delivery was more than a corporate formality. Miguel Reigoza, founder of the Buenos Aires Whisky Museum, carried out this mission of honor. As a friend of Green Glass, Miguel traveled to Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, invited by the Campari Group. He brought a piece that represents Luxury Upcycling and true passion for Bourbon.

“Jimmy Russell defined the flavor of Wild Turkey. Seeing him hold a glass from our workshop is the ultimate validation,” says Miguel Ángel Lanzillotta (Lanchi).
The Piece: The Original Wild Turkey Glass

We designed this glass from the iconic Wild Turkey bottle. We used artisanal cutting and polishing techniques to transform the container into a premium tasting piece.
Jimmy Russell held more than just a vessel. He held an object with the brand’s soul. Our team used meticulous hand-engraved glass techniques. We believe good whisky deserves a glass with a soul.
Recognition from a Master
Miguel Reigoza chose our work to represent Argentine art. For Green Glass, this is a fundamental milestone. It is a recognition among peers: the master distiller, the top collector, and the glass artist.
This meeting in Kentucky reaffirms our vision. Like our tribute to Gibson’s Cesar Gueikian, we create bridges. We connect great brands with sustainable signature art. Whether it’s a custom Johnnie Walker Blue Label glass or a bourbon tribute, we elevate every pour.
